Let it snow, Let is snow, Let it snow!
San Marco Piazza and a view across to the other side of Venezia
Winged Lion of San Marco.. and then this other picture speaks for itself...eww
Venezia is probably the most amazing city I have ever been to (After Bethesda :D). You have to go there once in your lifetime. The only means of travel in the city is via walking or gondola, so you do not have to worry about cars. We arrived in Venezia at about 1730 and had dinner at a diner next to our hotel. Pork and french fries. Really? But, oh well! Afterwards, we headed out to explore the nightlife and what would you know?! It began to snow! It was simply amazing and words cannot describe the feeling of joy and excitement. It was truly amazing. How many people can say the have been to Venezia when it has snowed. Plus, this was not a flurry or anything, it snowed an inch or two so it was legit. The next day we just toured the city for a little while then we just headed out on our own and got lost in the city. Its actually really hard to get lost in Venezia because there are signs pointing to The Rialto (main bridge), the San Marco Piazza, or the train station. Overall, it was just a great weekend and I loved it! I was exhausted at the end, but I was sad to have to say goodbye :'( Hopefully I will be able to return before the end of my trip :) *Fingers crossed*
