Well we got our housing situation taken care of. I am living in a 5 bedroom apartment in the center of town. It is right across the street from the Town Hall and it is located above a bar. There are three bars in town, with my favorite being the Bar Ticino. Anyways, our apartment has a double and a triple. I am in the triple. Our window overlooks the town and the mountains to the West. It is a very pretty view. I have everything unpacked and organized right now, which is good. Our school, the Villa Maderni, is located on Via Settala, near the Town Center. It is a short 3 minute walk from my apartment to the school. The school is also a dorm for some of the other students. There are pros and cons to living in the apartment and in the Villa. The Villa was built around 1750 and was home to an Italain Lawyer named Abbondio Bernasconi, who tried to free the region from Napoleonic rule. Its a 3/4 story building and is pretty big in size. It is an important historical point in Ticino history because of Bernasconi. That's all for now. Look for updates later on!
